AOD doesn't spin in neutral.
I bought an efi 302 and AOD out of a late 80s crown Vic. I was told that the trans was slipping when pulled wasn't surprised or concerned it was a good deal for the engine alone much less both. I'm planning out swapping this setup into my 78 mercury monarch after the trans is rebuilt. so i was trying to check which position is park on the shift lever and i discovered that no matter what position i pur the selector on the transmission the output shaft won't spin. TLDR is this AOD beyond saving since it doesn't have anything but park?. Also is it a trans worth trying to rebuild myself
