Holley Sniper install, tach issue

Hi everyone, I'm working on an 86 f250 with a 351ho and factory tachometer. A couple months ago, I installed a holley sniper 2 setup and ever since then, the tach has quit working. Has a factory duraspark setup. I cut the factory tachometer wire on the coil to tap into it with the wire for the sniper, but it was hooked back up. Has anyone ran a sniper on their bullnose and ran into this problem?

Similar story. 84 mustang 302. Sniper 2 BUT using hyperspark distributor and coil. Had to purchase an MSD converter to make it work. I believe it was the brown wire from the sniper system. Given you are using the factory ignition it seems strange it stopped working. Holley's support was very good, slow, but good. Send them an email if all else fails. Love the upgrade to TBI on the old girl. Good luck.
