Old time rivalry
I apologize if this is not the right place for this, or if ANY place on FTE is relevant. BUT I find it fascinating, maybe some here will too.
Back story, my wife has a 1955 Dodge P/U so I am a member of t a related FB group. This came up today. It greatly informed me, since, while I had heard/seen the "Job Rated badge before, I had no idea what ie meant. Honestly. I assumed is was a Heavy Duty sort of package you could add. But it's nothing of the sort. It literally meant "Tell us what job your truck needs to do, and we will design one for you".
They say they are the only company that does that (at the time), not sure how true that was, or if it was just marketing. BUT, it seems very logical and applicable.
