Do you have a better pic of the firewall stamp? I tried to enlarge it but couldn't make it out.

It’ll be Sunday or Monday before I can get a better picture. I’ll fill them in with a yellow tire crayon, to make them easier to see.

Frame Numbers are hidden somewhere

couldn’t find the frame numbers where they are on my other truck. They maybe really light, not sure, I’d have to pull the battery and mount to look any further back. That a project for another day.

On your firewall stamping, I see color code 10, Chrome Yellow, KC Kansas City Assembly, 17F build date 17 June, 1949.

I know he has been repainted, I would like to find some touch up paint. Wondering if I could get lucky with vermillion red.

Take the truck to an auto body paint supply store. They have a machine that can scan it and make a formula that will match.
