Currently have Toyo RT's and they were a good tire but don't need an RT. AT will be fine. Falkens have a better tread life rating but are 10# heavier....
All I have ran is the (really, really, really.... I mean REALLY bad) GY Wranglers that came stock on the truck, and now these Wildpeak AT4's, so I can't compare it outside of these 2 tires. But, the Wildpeaks have improved the ride and the handling by so much that I have a hard time imagining a better tire, and while I am now at almost 40k miles in, my plan is to replace these with another set just like them when the time comes. I went with the 295/70/18's and they have been nothing short of excellent. I have no concerns about traction, no matter the road condition, they tow well and are quiet, and they are wearing very good. These have a 60k mile rating and I have no doubt that I will get that. As I said, I am rolling up on 40k miles and my fronts have a hair over 13/32 left and the rears are a hair under 13/32. Of course I do rotate them every 5k miles (except for once when I went 10k miles), and of those miles, about 15k of them are towing our camper, granted it is a small one at only 6k lbs. And of course I am in the heavier, 6.7L PSD. Last time I scaled the truck and camper I was about 4700 lbs on the front and just over 5000 on the rears.
Besides their performance, I think they look great too! I have found the Meguiar's Hyper Dressing works better than any other tire cleaner I have tried. It's easy to apply, doesn't leave them looking brown and it sticks around for quite a while. Overall, I can't praise these tires enough. The only thing that some folks have against them is that they are not made in the US. (Although to be fair, all the tire companies make tires all over the world, including China... so I really don't see the big difference... but that's me.)
Anyway, HERE is a little more in depth write up I did on them last year at about 30k miles. The good thing is, nothing has changed in the last 10k since I wrote that, and that is a good thing!
No, they are 34.5 x 11.5, so a bit shorter than the 37's! I was back and forth on the 295/70 vs 285/75... since I have had them installed for some time now though, I think I prefer the slightly shorter, but wider tire.
Either the Falken AT4's or the Toyo AT3's, I have the Toyo's on 3 of my trucks and have been super impressed, and have friends with the Falkens who are just as happy, can't go wrong either way IMO.
My buddy went from Falken Wildpeak AT3W to Falken Wildpeak AT4W on his F250 Tremor this winter. 35"×11.5" standard Tremor size tires. He says he likes everything about the Falken Wildpeak AT4W and that they're a little better than the AT3W. For his winter driving it is plowed roads with hatdpack and whatever small amount of new snowfall before they plow again. He doesn't usually travel at night when our roads are unplowed and deeper snow. Rest of the year for him would be paved road or improved dirt road use. No heavy towing.
