Tire Question
I just got my 2010 5.4 XLT truck yesterday and a friend is picking his up on Monday. Mine came with the 18 inch Goodyear Wrangler AT/S LT275/65R18 113/110s tries. The truck he is getting just has Goodyear Wranglers on it. I know they are not the same tire. I am not a tire expert but I am guessing the AT/S are a lot better tire? Thanks for the help.

I am guessing he is getting the SR-A's on his, HAD them on mine, which are moderately debated. You are fortunate to be getting the LT tires b/c the GS-As are a p-rated tire. They will be fine if he doesn't do much towing (heavy) as they don't have a stellar weight rating. Go on Tirerack.com and compare the specs for both tires, I believe you will see the LT is more favorable. Its only $20ish per tire more for the LT ( on Tirerack ) and I would gladly have paid that difference in the sticker price for the LT tires. Whats another $70-80 when you're spending $40k?
