More free stuff: 55 parking light lenses

Working in my stash today. Threw a lot of junk away, an old egg basket full. If you see something in the egg basket let me know before I pitch it. And, no, I am not throwing away the seat snubbers you see next to the basket.

If anyone wants theses switches let me know now. I'll send them you pay shipping later.
Light switch

I think this is a heater switch. It has 3 speeds or notches: whole way in, ½ out, whole way out.

You are a chicken farmer, aren't you. I used that on our farm.

We had about 900-1000 hens and several roosters in each pen, actually a large room. We had 4 rooms on the first floor and 4 on the second. We would gather eggs twice a day. Eggs were used for hatching. We had to make sure a hen or a rooster didn't go from one room another
Although the chickens looked the same to me the hatchery that owned the chickens said they are different.

If you haven’t sealed my package yet……. Throw that heater switch in. Mine was bad and I replaced with an aftermarket. Even if the switch is bad, I can use the **** for another switch I added.

Maybe you should just hold onto my “care package” until you’re done cleaning shop. 🤣

I have sealed tour package but it's no problem to open it up again, Brad.

I'll have to go look.

Pretty soon I'll have nothing to throw away.

That's cool, Kevin. Does your son enjoy watching and helping?

My Mom and Dad and my siblings spent many hours each week cleaning and grading the eggs in the egg cellar below the chicken house. Lots of fond memories from those days .

Tom, here are better pictures. I have 2 with the harness. 1 without. Are they 73-79?

Brad, inside the bag is a pair vent window rubber for the back edge from 1999 that I never used. Need it?

Thanks for the pictures, Abe. The '73 - '79 lights are 7 1/4" long by 1 3/8" wide. Yours look smaller but maybe it's just the size of the wire that is misleading me.

I can measure them tomorrow but look at the closeup of the reflector. It says AP 2 73 TK.

Yessir. Toss them in. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Thank you sir.

This is like Christmas in March. Fitting, considering the 4-5 inches of snow that got dumped on us this afternoon.
75 degrees yesterday, 55 degrees this morning, and currently 27 degrees.

But now truck rides are put on hold again as I just saw the salt truck go by the house. The snow never stuck to the roads, but they must be worried about all the water freezing overnight.

Speaking of chickens. Here is a portion of a TED talk regarding efficiency of chickens in egg production. Actually pretty interesting study.
