This situation is totally out of hand!!!
A week ago, just last Friday, I fueled up at Murphy USA close to my house, diesel price was 3.099 a gallon.
I just drove by there and this is what it is today, I have never paid this much for diesel before!!!
Yup... and I bet it will get worse... especially here in CA! Since I have gotten here in CA, the Shell station I use sells diesel between $5.09 - $5.39 has been. Tuesday when I filled up and it was $5.89. With my Shell discount it was $5.65, which is now the most I have ever paid, but not by much... We went back to the same station to fill up my wife's car the next day and diesel had gone up to $6.10! I haven't checked it since, but I expect it is even more today...
We got here in August of last year. Even back then though, there is a Shell station in Salinas that I have seen diesel as much as $7.51!
Well, welcome to the orange utopia that we were all promised. wink-wink
Have you bought any beef steak lately? $30.00 a pound for prime where we live. Actually its all going like I thought that it would. Not all of us sucked the orange koolaide down.
But don't worry, Commander bone spurs says it will all be over in 2-3 weeks......wink-wink
Well, I better go now because these sites don't like is someone speaking the facts truthfully & honestly.
Have a nice Friday & cheers,
Russ
Its no different when the holidays near.........tons of people will be traveling and fuel prices go up.
Since getting here last August this is the first time I have seen it go up like this... even during the holidays. And since this thread is already going there... I figure Newsom is playing into the price hikes here in CA... not to mention the additional refineries he is running out of the state!

Gas companies find any excuse. Yes, the war is the issue so not the orange juice.
Exactly. Here in Cali, prices were on the rise prior to the war. Just in the month of Feb, prices went up $0.40+/g for regular unleaded at the same station. Now add war to whatever other excuses the gas companies have to increase pricing. Some stations are more proactive with the $ increases too, while others increase more gradually. War is temporary, however, a lot of the other reasons for the increases in my state are not temporary, and also not as a result of the orange juice...quite the opposite actually.

He started the war. There has to be some profit in it for him and his billionaire friends, probably invested in oil companies.
And, it is very different than a holiday hike, the price never went up by over a dollar a gallon in a week during any holiday time.
And, this is just the beginning, going to get freaking outrageously expensive very quickly.
Well said sir.
You hit the nail right on top of the head. And personally, I do think things will go up considerably higher yet. Hope not, but it does not look good. I guess the government thinks that we are all billionaires & its just so easy to get by. I have family that have kids to feed & keep in school & they tell me it takes every dollar to keep them fed & in school. And taken care of properly. Don't know what they will do if food & fuel & housing keeps skyrocketing. Good luck I guess.
Cheers,
Russ
I filled up yesterday on our neighboring reservation in Washington at $3.79. The last fill was $3.49 there about 2 weeks ago . In Yakima city diesel is anywhere from $4.61 to @5.39 at Maverick.
This too will pass.
The straight of Hormuz will open very soon thanks to agent orange💥 and gas will be back down to $2.00 a gallon like when he was in office last time.😁
Diesel is $6.24 a gallon here in Canada, and regular gas is $5.01 a gallon here. It's more expensive in other parts of Canada.
Canadian dollars? What is the current exchange rate?
Filled up in West Texas yesterday $4.16/gal, got my $0.25/gal discount so it was under $4/gal. The 48 gallon tank still stung the bank account. I have a love hate relationship with this fuel tank coming from a 26 gallon tank on my 2002 8.1 liter gas truck that got less than 5mpg when heavily loaded, looking for fuel every 100 miles is not a relaxing trip in South and West Texas, so the debit card can suck it up now that I can go over 500 miles on a tank with the same load. Those old big block gassers weren't fuel efficient, but they were honest hard working powerplants!
