I love my big truck, I also have an old Honda that gets 40 MPG.

Unfortunately, I think you will look back as these are the good old days.

Imagine them rationing gas, you get 5 gallons a week. Have fun !!

Without Canada, the USA wouldn't move.

Your numbers appear to be off.

It's also worth noting, that absolutely nobody needs canadas ruling government, to move and sell this oil.

And, it is very different than a holiday hike, the price never went up by over a dollar a gallon in a week during any holiday time.

And, this is just the beginning, going to get freaking outrageously expensive very quickly.
Yep, exactly. Stephen Andrew Feinberg, look this gem up.

Every single time....

Still, this is no surprise, as only a moron wouldn't expect The Donald to get his hands dirty on more foreign wars. He's said it multiple times in the past that there were strategic (ie, J reasons) he would agitate.

Still, the main reason he needed to be put in the presidency, despite his extreme faults, was to stop the massive importation of literal trash into this country. I will give him credit, that it has been somewhat of a delivered promise, despite the extreme pushback.

However, the worthless R party is going to lose 'big league' come the midterms.

Supposedly 20% wanted conflict in the middle east. It doesn't take a neuroscientist to figure out what those people are.

Get ready for more imported trash, regulations, and any and every policy to further disenfranchise White Americans. Look at what that witch in VA is doing and scale it everywhere. Hold on tight.

With Js, you lose.

Well, if your not of Native American heritage then you sir might be literal trash also. You need to take a good look in the mirror.

Did you not drive in Spring/Summer 2022?

The national average was $5.78 after Vlad's three day special military operation..... which is still on going...

I think the most I paid was like $6.50 cause New York doesn't believe in pipeline so all our petroleum products are brought in by boat, rail or truck into New England. IIRC crude got to $130 a barrel, which is better than the $147 it got to in July/August 2008. As of my post it is right around $100 or so.

Gas here has only gone from ~$2.70 to ~$2.95 a gallon, what’s the big deal? With crooked sleepy Joe it was $5.18 a gallon.

Drill baby drill, boom baby boom and soon gas will be $2.00 a gallon like during DJT first term and the leading sponsors of terrorism will be gone. Hopefully this makes those of you with TDS feel a little better.

Thanks for your enlightened take. I had no idea Indians built a first world society and sparked the industrial revolution. Where would we be without them? Hell, I probably wouldn't even have a cell phone if they hadn't refined the transistor back at Blackfoot labs in the 30s.

Boy, I'm sure glad sitting on a spot on the planet grants certain people unlimited credit.

Pretty sure there is no cure 🤦‍♂️🤣 once afflicted with TDS, it's a forever mental disease, possibly with facts and counseling, but the eyes are closed so tight... it's pretty much terminal.

If only it were that simple. Tell me, do you actually believe this will be solved in a "few days"? The amount of wishy-washy briefings we've seen are a joke. First it was supposed to be a few days, then rubio said a week, now it's weeks.

What do you think is gonna happen when time runs out and this now falls into Congress? The regime change won't be complete, not by a long shot, and meanwhile, the strait is blockaded. What do you think this ripple effect will do to world oil supply and prices? We already meddled in Venezuela, so there's that little wrinkle as well.

High oil prices are here to stay for a while. This isn't "TDS", it's common sense without the blind loyalty to insanity.

There is hope, self-immolation and death by COP seem to be popular and effective cures for the disease.

This thread is temporarily closed for a time out, as the topic continues to drift from "fuel prices" to personally directed remarks that border upon insults.

Fuel prices are an intrinsic component of truck ownership, and we very much want folks to be able to discuss them here, without much, if any, interference.

But we do depend on each member to exhibit maturity and exercise judgement in public discourse on hot topics, like fuel prices, that are intrinsically related to broader geopolitical events.

There is a difference between talking about the problem, versus talking about each other. We lose the opportunity to learn other people's points of view (about the problem) when threads get closed due to devolving into personal insults, which FTE does not wish to support the bandwidth for.

Thanks for your understanding.
