2005 Front End Conversion
I have a 2005 Excursion that needs a new front end, quarters, hood, grill, etc. I had a little accident a couple of years ago, when a truck merged into me on an overpass. I had always wanted to have the body redone and painted, and this seems like a good time to do a front-end swap. If I do, I'm going to have the rear quarters done to match. I've been putting off finding a good shop to do it, and haven't decided which front end to use, the '08-'10 or the '11-'16. That said, I've come across a 2013 Texas truck with a complete front clip for $600. Has anyone swapped an '11-'16 front end? Any pictures or opinions would be appreciated.

check the Superduty forum for more recent swaps. a X few guys have done the 08-10 swap in this forum. with write-ups. just not as active anymore
since the Superduty/Excursion are same rig from A-pillar forward, you can follow Superduty write-ups for 11+ stuff.
