Undercoating options new 2026 truck

Hey all,
I have a new truck on order and I am looking for opinions on various undercoating/rustproofing of the frame and body
I had Zeebart done on my 2011 and the body looks good as well as a good chunk of the frame, but it didn't protect everything.
I know Line-X does undercoating and I am planning on having my bed Line-Xed

I am unsure what other systems are out there, but whatever I use will need to work with the aluminum body as well as the steel frame. The goal is to prevent rust from even getting a foothold

For context, I have major salt water bodies on all 4 sides of me, some (south) under a mile, the furthest (west) just under 10 or so with other directions in between, but under 2 miles. These are marshes, canals, or bays. We get hot, humid weather, salt rains, and more importantly, Nor'Easters and other snow which causes the local road authorities to put down large amounts of salt. I also keep my vehicles 10 years or more.

Thanks

Any of the lanolin based undercoatings like fluid film or krown IMO. Way easier in terms of effort and mess to pay someone $400 the first time then $150 every year for a re-application.

If your keeping your truck long don't get zibert or the linex stuff. That stuff holds moisture in when it eventually starts to peel and destroys your frame. Plenty videos on YouTube showing this as well.

Do either wool wax or fluid film.

I'm going to spray the Summit Chassis Paint when mine arrives. I've had 2) new Ford trucks and used the Eastwood chassis paint on both of those. I live in the desert so I used the chassis paint just to prevent surface rust. Not sure how well either would hold up in the humid, snowy salty regions of the country.

Anyone use Boeshield t9 or ACF-50? Goes on well, mists and carries into all the nooks, and once flashed-off doesn't seem to attract dirt as much as the stickier films. I used it on the airframe and have some left over hanging around the shop.

I use milspray for the underside

and corrosion X for electrical connections

I stopped using fluid film and the like because it would foul electrical connections.

Wool Wax is the best option available as a Wool Wax applicator uses a variety of their products to get into and around all critical areas, and Wool Wax does NOT trap moisture like undercoatings do. Wool Wax creeps into crevices forcing out moisture, will get a firm shell over time and stays put for year as long as there are no under body car wash sprays done to blast it off. Mechanic HATE the stuff because it gets all over them even years after application. I know it lasts at LEAST 5 years if not longer as I had discovered Wool Wax when I bought the 2019 F450, it was applied 20 days after the original owner purchased it and I bought it in 2022 and the original application was still covering the truck inside and out. Fluid fil, is like Wool Wax in that its the same basic product, but doesn't last more than a year and has to be reapplied every year, same with those others mentioned, Wool Wax stays put and doesn't wash off in regular weather. The only way to remove it is by power washing and that still leaves behind an oily surface that repels water, you have to then wash it with something like Dawn to remove the rest.

I know, I sound like a salesman with this stuff, but I have experience with it and know first hand its just GOOD stuff. I applied it to the underside of my 2024 and did it before the front bumper replacement came in. The mechanic who replaced the bumper cursed me out, then asked where could he get it for his truck.
