Push buttons external door lock
2015 Disel Lariat crew cab . The external push button panel on driver side door does not work anymore and will not reset. Is this a common problem with the panel or more likely to be a wire issue. And is this panel expensive? . Thanks Frank from OZ.

Depending on the type of keyless entry it is, it may not be wired. Some were wireless and battery operated, and when the battery would die they would no longer function. It will depend on which kind you have as to whether it is a wire issue or not.
I would say that panel itself usually isn't expensive.
