Jim, I feel your frustration. The ‘93 Bronco AC decided to not work when my weather station said they it was 95* F ambient. On top of that I recieved my LCD for the odometer so I can read the center four digits.
It’s frustrating having converted to R134 and now it’s blowing outside air instead of cooling. OTH after seeing the price of a 25/26 Bronco, I can keep this one going for a loooong time!
we are supposed to be in the mid 90’s for the rest of the week here in the North Valley.

I sure miss Rob whining about the high temps in the city.
Mid-nineties here for the next few days as well. Once I get the money pit back it should pass the next 3 smog tests. Small consolation considering how much these cats are costing me. I have thought of getting a newer F-150 but that is out of the question for the next 4 years and 9 months now. Once these two loans are paid off then maybe. It is interesting that the truck ran fine even though the driver side cats were bad. The owner of the shop told me yesterday the second cat on the driver's side was totally plugged up. I can't wait to get it back and take it to a smog test station. Will probably have to put some miles on it like I did after the first 2 cats were replaced.
It's warming up real nice up here in Washington, before long it will be too Hot.
I miss Rob from the City also, I've searched the obituaries in and around San Francisco but only having a first name no luck and his given name may be something different.
Blue sky’s here , did my fuel filters yesterday, not a hard job at all , much better than doing a 6.0L, on the 6.0 I’d get diesel in my arm pit from the rail filter , this 6.7 you open the water separator let it drain down , then pull 5 bolts , the filter comes out with the housing, the housing has fuel in it but not too bad , some funky looking beads and sand looking grit , most likely from fill station tanks , the upper filter , which I started with first , is enclosed filter so don’t know what that one looks like , my truck has pep to its step , no more lag
good day gents
to be continued, now I need shocks
The trees are in full bloom with EVERYTHING showing a layer of yellow. Between my allergies and a cold I’ve been thoroughly miserable and not ambitious about anything.
Just looking out the window at the Bronco and trying to decide if going out is worth the effort.
Yepperz pepperz still alive here. Still waiting for word from the San Joaquin Valley Vets (SJVV) decision to help me or not with the second set of cats needed for the truck.
Hank , I threw in the towel with the 6.0, I was heading up to Sonora to a reputable mechanic up there to fix a oil leak , when I pulled in it was puffin white smoke , I knew right away I was toast again , the mechanic opened er up and coolant was in the cylinders, so the last bullet proof EGR cooler never was forced to spec, apparently,
Soooo at that point I made the best decision I’ve ever made besides moving out of cali, to Dump the truck and get into a 6.7 , which has so far treated me well especially during deer & Elk hunting on 4x4 roads .
thats my story and I’m sticking to it lol, I ended up getting 3500 for it , well maybe less , I’m sure there was coins in between the seats and some fry’s
hope you are feeling better brother.
