no forum but , all other forums like Dodge or GMC , are nothing but crying lol.
speaking about crying , why are dealerships so expensive , plastic parts should last longer , plastic should not be expensive, if said plastic breaks, ford should replace it free of charge, I mean we paid the high cost of the vehicle already plus extended Warranty’s
I had a mechanic tell me once , dealers make their money from service not from sales , I’m now starting to understand that theory .

Oh, ye of little petunias. I am really beginning to think my truck hates me. today, it did not throw a tantrum, but it did show the CEL again. This after making two laps around the town. So, I go to O'Reilly to have it scanned. Now, it tells me that bank 1 cats are bad, and the fuel gauge sending unit is bad. That makes no sense, my fuel gauge works fine (when the truck is not throwing a temper tantrum). Everything worked fine today as far as the gauges go. But why the heck would a fuel level sender cause it to fail smog? Makes no sense. As for the bank 1 cats, there is no way in the world I will be able to afford to have them replaced. I am down to $800. I will have to see if I can get financial assistance from the state. However, in order to do that, I need to take it in and fail the smog test... Then, take it to a star certified smog check station that does repairs. This is ridiculous.

If you ask me, they are all in the die a slow death mode now. Chinese auto makers have gotten onto the electric bandwagon with a fury. Article in this morning's Merc suggested that American auto makers if they continue on the path they're on, they will at some point be serving a niche market in the USA-only. The entire rest of the world is going electric in a big way.

It's looking like the next week will be in the 80s and 90s all over the place. They're expecting it to break records in the city. I'd love to hear from Rob about how he's suffering through the heat.

Happy Saturday FTE freinds, it rained all night and early morning, temps starting Monday is supposed to be 75/80, with no rain , The rivers are flowing to fast for me to put the boat in , once it slows some then I’ll gear up for steelhead fishing, boats are on the water but I’m not that skilled yet for fast water ,
I might go tomorrow to one of many lakes ,

Thanks Jim , I ended up staying home today , we went to our local grange bingo nite and silent auction, by the time we got the place cleaned up and back home it was late , I’m just being lazy today , Monday comes early and back to the grind , beside the goberment wants their slice of my Benjamin’s.
planning a road trip to Arizona , I really don’t want to give gas money to California, but I also don’t want to go through salt lake either, the only option is Lake Tahoe to Carson 395 I’ll look at a map to plan this better from Oregon would be 97 to susenville , burney falls to Tahoe .

Or, you could take the Lear Jet and fly over Cali and sneer at Newsom.

Well, just got word from the muffler shop the money pit needs another two catalytic converters...$3,400 worth of repairs just to pass the California smog test... Going to see if the San Joaquim Valley Vets can help with the bill this time as I don't have the money now.
