I'm looking for a part number or at least a photo of an 04-07 power slider switch without the parking assist or 4 wheel drive selector. I know where it goes, but all of the switches I've found have the other options in the same housing. I finally found a window from an 04 to put in my 01, and I realize the plastic panel isn't removable on my 01, but I want to try and make it look as stock as possible. But of course the truck the window is coming out of, that panel is broken and no longer with the truck.
When I removed the window I was looking through the truck and found the plate with the switch in it. But, it has the parking sensor button and the 4 wheel drive dial. I'd still like to find a panel with just the window switch. Surely they made them.
Here's the part number from a 2004: 4C3Z-25047A04-AAA
Obviously discontinued. Where to find one, or even a picture beats me...
5C3Z25047A04EAA This is the number I had and was looking for but only had a small drawing to go by. I'd like to see one in real life. I can't imagine you had to have a 4 wheel drive truck and auto hubs to get a sliding rear window.
Another option may be to go with a different lower dash panel from a super duty which had adjustable pedals. Many I have seen on ebay have a cutout/plug that appears to be the same size as the slider window switch.
Here's a link to one that gives you an idea of what I am talking about.
That could be an option and also has the housing for the upfitter switches. Too bad I didn't pull the one out of the truck that I got the window out of that I drove 5 hours to get.
I ended up modifying the switch it came with that included the 4 wheel drive selector and the parking assit button. Cut it down, cut a hole in the dash and used epoxy to hold it in place. Pretty easy and cheap. I will say I really enjoy having the power slider and all of this searching and work was worth it. Manual slider for sale if anyone is looking.
