96 Bronco E4OD shifting issues

So my 1996 ford bronco 5.8L E4OD has issues shifting into 2nd and 3rd gear. Blinking OD light. Sometimes it will shift and be perfectly fine No blinking OD light, other times I have to shift it into 2nd manually, then put it into drive and then it will shift into 3rd, sometimes... And it will shift out of a gear as well, such as shifting into 2nd, then 3rd and I am cruising then it will just shift out of 3rd into 2nd, it does not shifts into something like neutral. I always have power to the wheels, just very high RPMS and not in the correct gear. I checked the fluid when hot and in park and its full. I see no leaks, I did a transmission code test and the only code that came up with the temperature sensor code. I was thinking torque converter? But the temp code has me wondering if the solenoid pack is having issues as well? What other tests can I do really? Anything helps thanks.

Blinking OD light means to check the transmission codes
Your 1996 will be easier if OBD2 and MAF which it should be on a Bronco
A few things to check before running for the nearest scan tool
Does the speedo work?
Does it have brake lights
Did you put LED bulbs anywhere?
That trans does not know your foot is on the brakes with LED bulbs and that causes shifting trouble
Your blinking light is worse than that and might be the harness going to the trans
I'd check that connector for oil contamination and grab a scan tool
I'd also check the wires going to the OD cancel switch where they like to break at the end of the shalk

Others will work (partially)
But
This is your Ford scan tool for 1996 and will run about 20 PIDS on that E4OD
