So I've been looking at the LMC seat upholstery kits. Sadly, they don't carry the one I was in Red anymore, for the 66. They do have it, though for the '67. Is there a huge difference in the 67 seats vs '66? Wondering if I could make the '67 kit work on my '66?
I see it had been several months since you last posted. I hope all it well North of the border. I haven't seen a post from @RangerMercMan in quite a while now. Too bad he had to sell his one Ranger, but it did need a good bit of work to bring it back around. Well worth doing with that one in my opinion. Cheers!
I have a later model seat in my '65. I say later because I don't remember, but certainly circa dentside. It bolted straight in and has the plastic "bushings" for the seat belts to come through. The difference is the seat back, it is wider and will not tilt forward past our arm rests. You can see that in your pics of the two in comparison. If a split bench seat, it would not be an issue at all. Mine is a single seat back and is not able to tilt forward much as it will hit the passenger side. With the gas tank taking up space I rarely access back there so NBD. If I need in there I open both doors. There is no problem with the seat bottom.
