Does anyone know if the 1966 f100 seat the same size as a 1967 f100 seat?
I'm looking to recover mine and I found a couple good options, but they are for a 1967 - 1972 truck.
I'm not really finding any good options for my 66 seat.

One of the previous owners took out the original bench seat and installed bucket seats. I want to find a factory bench seat for the truck.
Will a F100 seat fit correctly in mine? It's thesame.
Original seat will be: 1961/66 F100/1100; 1963/69 N/NT500/1000; 1967/69 F800/1000, as all these trucks use a similar cab.
1967/72 F100/750 & 1973/79 F100/880 seat will work, but the seat tracks are different.

If you want the real deal - SMS Auto Fabrics in Oregon is the only one I’m aware of that reproduces the correct fabrics for our trucks. They also will stitch up a cover for you, which I did some years ago and am happy. Some members that just bought the materials with the intention of having a local upholsterer make the cover have reported that they do not carefully select materials, either wrong cuts or defective patterns, sometimes having to send said materials back multiple times before getting acceptable stuff. They will cover return costs, but it is quite annoying, thus I elected to avoid that nonsense and buy a complete cover. It came right the first time, though it was not cheap.
Except for the very lowest spec trucks, the seats were normally two-toned, and look quite nice to me and many others. They will send you samples, based on your VIN and what the truck came with originally. But you’re not confined to the stock cover if your truck has been repainted a different color. It’s likely your truck’s had a replacement at some point. You can check the photos in my profile to see what came with my truck. Many members here have covers made from SMS’ materials.
The '66 and '67 are definitely not the same. I believe the '67 is wider across both the seat cushion and backrest. I have a '67-up seat in my '66 now and a spare '66 bench seat in my stash which I intend to dig out and maybe refurbish. I plan to get on this in the next few days so I could compare and measure the two if you are interested.

I'm going to have to eat my words, or at least take some of them back. I measured the seat I installed in my '66, which I sourced from a '67 (or '68-'69).
The seat bottom is 59" wide. The back rest is 58" wide. The seat cushion is 22" front to back at the centre. The distance from the pivot hole to the top of the backrest is 26 3/4". With the doors closed there is a space of 2" from the seat cushion to the door on one side and 2 1/2" on the other. When tilted forward, the backrest hits both armrests and will not pass them.
I dug out my spare seat, which until very recently I believed to be correct for my '66, and found that it measured almost exactly the same in every dimension. Hmm... I was there when it came out of a friend's '66. I inspected it closer and found tags which appear to be original - one has a C7 prefix, the other C8. So, I don't have a '66 seat. I was pretty sure I had a good spare when I discarded the original one...
Anyway, you probably have an actual '66 seat you can measure.
