I updated my Forscan and my license expired. I'm trying to purchase another license however I can't figure out how? When I click on "Information about extended license" it takes me to the Forscan forum. I scroll down to section 3, click on the hyperlink to purchase the license and it takes me back to the page I started from. Maybe I'm just missing something?


Edit-I've had the paid subscription for probably 8 years, so I'm not new to it.

you have to get the 30 day free license last I heard.

 

I wondered about that. Hopefully when it says you can get 2 extended licenses isn't true.

problem is we can't send money to russia and are now blocked from doing so, we have to deal with using the 30 day and be happy we can do that ,

 

It's been a while, but yeah, the option to purchase a pass was no longer an option due to the Russian restrictions. Also, I can't remember the details exactly since it has been a while, but I didn't get an email with the code... I think it popped up pn the screen after submitting everything. I was expecting an email so didn't pay attention to the instructions after submitting everything... lol.

 

Yep. this is how I got my 1 year extended license about 6 months ago.

 

Thanks for the tips. I haven't had a chance to try this yet but I will hopefully this week.

 

I have had the extended license on my tablet for several years but am unable to update. It says an update is available but haven't been able to get it done. Still works though.

 

Interesting, using Jay870’s links to software companies IOBD and AKM, I just bought a 1 year license for $20 that appears to work just fine.

Another vote for the AKM link - I bought one in November of last year, and had my license code in a matter of minutes.

 

Make sure you check your outgoing box too.

 

I am logged in to on my laptop now, it is much easier to navigate and delete messages. Only problem is I accidentally deleted the PM that @ZooDad sent me!!
