I have a 2001 f250 4x4 V10
Truck drove fine the day before , when i stared it up the next day after a rain and then a really cold night like 12 degrees Its now stuck in drive in all positions PNRD12 ,
Could the PCM which has happened before have gotten wet and caused this issue. All the linkage and fluid is working like it sghoud.
I will engage in park and stop the truck and not let it move but it’s still in drive and you can throttle it and feel it try to move , the only time it will not move forward is if it is in park and in reverse. If you let it roll forward in neutral and shif it in to reverse it will stop going forward like it’s in reverse but it won’t move , its like the E brake is on
That's a much different symptom than you first described. What you are now describing is a forward clutch that is welded together. It's time to rebuild or replace that transmission. It's done.
