I'm going to swap my mirror for a Wolfbox mirror. The factory mirror is held by a set screw which should be no problem. There is a plastic piece that leads to the mirror that holds the wire for the stock mirror. I think that needs to come off to lift the mirror up to release this from the anvil mount on the glass. I've tried to gently pull this piece away from the windshield thinking it would pop of
f. It didn't. Am I on the right track or not. Thanks for your help.
Your right on most vehicles I've seen. But this wire is enclosed in a cover that is attached to the glass. My picture that I attached may be a little dark.. Once unplugged I'll have to wrap the wire around the new mirror stem with a zip tie. I already have the tripro mirror.
