DCR conversion

As we are all aware of the CP4's reputation and the switch to an S&S DCR conversion, how many have actually done this? I will be doing my '17 at the end of this month along with a Pusher Intake (which is on back order). Been treating my fuel with Opti-Lube since it was new and it currently has 92k miles on it. Truck works flawlessly, I'm doing it now because I don't want a hassle if/when the CP4 does decide to fail on me.

I'll be doing the same thing sometime this year. I'll also be doing the CCV upgrade.

Had mine done December of 24’. Ford dealer in a red state was more than happy to do it on the way down to the Keys for the winter.

I have a DPK in my bought when new 2019.

when the CP4 shows signs of wear (commanded fuel vs actual fuel) I'll replace with a DCR.

LOL, when I get the DCR done the wife is driving the truck and rv down to the keys and I'm meeting her with the helicopter. I've had enough of this below zero weather in Wisconsin.

that would be a long flight if the heli is the one in your avatar. But agree with being tired of the cold here in Michigan.

4 years ago we stayed down in Big Pine Key and there were helicopters doing a lot of work on the power lines on U.S. 1. Crazy seeing those guys hanging outside those choppers. Some days it was breezy to say the least.

I'm exited to finally put this worry (CP4) to rest and end up with a better looking engine and maybe a slight bit better performance with the Pusher.....its fine the way it is stock but the CP4 is my biggest concern.

The Pusher intake does increase airflow. The filter media Pusher uses is 99.2% efficiency per ISO 5011 standards. I live in a dusty environment and am looking for a more efficient filter to put on my Pusher intake. Something to consider if dust is a concern for you.
