Good morning all, happy Friday! It's smaller than it looks. I have been plotting where things will go. With all of my crap, won't have a ton of extra room! Should be finished this weekend. Then I will get to painting. Going to go pick that up tomorrow. Lift install is scheduled for the 27th of this month, that is the last major thing inside the building. Still some landscaping to do, and we're thiniking of putting some sort of stone to cover the foundation, so we don't just have big empty concrete slabs on the north and east sides.

Good morning everyone! Been running as hard as I can in the semi this week but the wife was gone on a business trip this week. So, had to park it early and go after the goblins at daycare. Caught the 24hr flu bug at about 1:30am on Friday morning so just laid around suffering yesterday. Luckily, the wife showed back up and took over the kids. I was exhausted!

When I was in the process of planning my shop, I literally measured all of my benches, cabinets, tool boxes, stand alone tools, etc and mapped it out to see if I'd really have enough room or not. I mean, you'll never build it big enough but I didn't want to come out way short.

I have my concrete foundation on my shop that I'm thinking about some sort of faux stone covering as well. The concrete doesn't look bad, per se, but it's doesn't look great either and it can always be better. I'm hoping that I make enough money to start in on landscaping this year. I want some sidewalks put in and the house driveway needs to be redone pretty badly, too.

You never build big enough the first time now after 3 builds I'm out of room on the lot. Far left is 24x30 main shop, middle is 28x34 and the last one is 14x42 for the trailer.

Good morning all, welcome to another Monday! Beautiful weekend here, temps in the upper 60's. Same for today, 70's for tomorrow! I actually ran my sprinkler system this morning, and will again tomorrow, just to get some moisture in the ground. Final sanding of drywall is today, going to start trimming the windows and door tonight, then get to primer tomorrow.

That's looking good Pat, are you going to spray the paint on or do it the hard way with brush and roller.

Good morning guys, happy Tuesday! Another beautiful day, temps in the 70's. Unfortunately, looks like winter returns later this week. Drywall is done, trimmed out the windows and walk-in door last night, going to start primer tonight. Denny, since I don't have to paint the ceiling, I'll do this the hard way. Rollers and brushes it is!

Good morning all ,happy Day of Hump! Our nice weather will be leaving the building after today. Temps back down in the 30's and 20's until some time next week, supposed to be back in the 50's. Started doing all the edging of primer last night, should finish that, and start rolling it tonight.

Good morning, everyone! That wind sure is whipping out there. Snow is supposed to start some time today, so I've heard. Schools are all closing early because of it, everyone seems pretty freaked out. Luckily, I finished up with a driving job yesterday so I can have an office day today and try to catch up on two weeks of paperwork... yay, me!

Good morning all, happy Friday! Stayed home sick yesterday, stomach kept me up all night Wednesday night/ Thursday morning. Did get the shop all primered Wednesday after work, going to start painting tomorrow, if I don't get called in to work, I'm on call for the next week. Had 9-10 inches of white crap overnight. I got up at 5 to do the driveway, took me freaking 2 hours! Then, got to come to work, and blow more white crap! Isn't winter great......NO!

Good morning, everyone!

I think you guys got hit way harder over there than we did with the snow for sure. We probably had 2-4 inches here. The thing that's worse than the snow is how everyone loses their minds waiting for the snow to come. By noon on Thursday, daycare said they were going to close down at 2:30. The snow didn't start until about 5 or 6. Things like that grind my gears.
