You're probably going to beat me at this point. I picked up a job for part of this week and next, plus the wife is leaving for a business trip next week so I'm alone with the two goblins. That and I plan on going groundhog hunting at some point... stupid rodent predicted 6 more weeks of winter. Good thing he's only 35% accurate, though!

My electrician nephew came over yesterday and wired the floor heat. I did the low voltage stuff, but, we're not getting a start command from the thermostat, so I have to do some troubleshooting. Floor heat company says if its the thermostat, they'll shoot me another one free. Have to have that running and the room up to temp for drywall. Hoping the 50 degree temps later this week will help raise the floor temp, going to have the wife open the garage doors and windows around noon that day.

That'll help, especially if you can get some direct sunlight in there. My north facing doors aren't very useful for that. The concrete takes the longest to heat up but if I can get it warm in there, it holds the heat for a long time.

Good morning all, happy Taco Tuesday! Got the floor heat fired up! Had a broken wire at the terminal strip inside the thermostat. I was a little pessimistic about how long it would take to warm up, figured it would be 4-5 days. It was 57 in the building this morning when I checked! So, I'll contact my drywall guy today to get that process going. Had to come in at 4:15 this morning to run, be here until 7:30 or so tonight.

Good morning everyone!

That's good news about the floor heat, Pat! I'm working on my panels some more today. Finish up the north wall up to where the overhead doors are then I'll likely start in on the south side. Got a little bit of wiring and insulation to finish up there but probably not more than an hour or two worth of work.

Good morning all, happy Day of Hump! Got out of here around 7:30 last night. It was a comfy 67 degrees in the shop when I went home. Very surprised it only took 24 hours to come up to temperature! So, I'll put in a call this morning to get the drywall scheduled, then call about getting the lift installed after that. I'll paint the walls, then its move in day! Temps warm up here starting tomorrow, looks to be decent for the next week or so, upper 40's and 50's.

Good morning all, happy Thursday! Ken, we'll be in the 50's today, so maybe this weather will make it out your direction in a few days. And, yes, shop hasn't been cheap. But, I can see the finish line! Get this done, and should help speed up progress on the 67, being able to work on it year round.
