My 2015 F350 has had DPF problems so I unhooked the electrical connections to the unit looking for any issues. I found a rubbed wire on the rearward NOX sensor. I put everything back and started the truck and got an electrical fault. I looked back under and realized I had missed the connector on the top of the unit. I plugged it in but it is still saying it has a fault and will limit my speed to 50 MPH in so many miles. Does anyone know how to clear this?

I do not know if this applies to your situation but Ford has extended their warranty for the DEF system heater and sending unit for 11 years or 120,000 from the warranty start date. Mine just disappeared on my 2015 F350 dash. It wouldn't correctly indicate the DEF level. They had the truck for about a day and fixed it. No out of pocket
Thanks for the reply. Turns out it was a couple of sensors that were bad and the DPF heater fault. I am out of warranty on the heater so $2600 later the truck runs better than it has in a while.
