Strange communication issue

Whats up guys,

2017 F250. Came to me with a myriad of issues. Leaking up pipes, coolant leaks, etc. I got the other issues fixed but im having a weird communication issue. When the truck is started, the CEL will come on as well as reduced engine power. When I try to connect my scanner to the truck, the truck will act like the start button was pressed to shut the truck off, and the scanner will not communicate with the truck. As soon as I unplug the scanner, the truck will wake up.

I measured resistance across pin 6 and 14 and I have 60 ohms until i press the button for key on engine off and then resistance shoots up.

I have tried unplugging the abs module as those have been an issue in the past, but no change.

Strangely enough, I can get my EZlynk module to connect to the truck and display data and codes, but they come back as soon as the truck is started.

The odd thing is that despite the codes and reduced engine power warning, the truck will drove fine.

Top photo is codes from ezlynk, second photo is what happens before the scanner is connected, third photo what it looks like as soon as I plug the scanner in, 4th is what happens after I unplug the scanner.

EDIT: the batteries are new

What yall think.

Thanks

Batteries

These trucks do a lot of weird things when your batteries are not working properly / fully charged. I would start there. Test them separately as one can be bad and the other ok. Replace them in pairs.
Also check the wiring plugs behind the hitch above the spare tire. If they have water intrusion they will cause electrical gremlins too. Carefully unplug clean them and apply a little die electric grease and snap them back together. There’s a lot of information about this on the forums.

There's a TSB on the seat codes, you got something else going on but it may help you on the path of narrowing it down...

How old are the batteries? Sounds like they could be dieing. Atleast check them.

Pull the radio cover free, remove it, unplug the APIM. Then try reading the codes and such. You might clear it by unplugging and then plugging the APIM in a few times.
