air suspension compressor differences

Need a Ford Expert to answer the following question:
What is the difference in PN: F75Z-5319-BC verses F75Z-5319-CA?
My 1998 F250(LD) Lariat SC has the rear auto leveling suspension and it appears the air compressor (F75Z-5359-BC) has failed. I still have to test to verify it is actually bad. However I was searching for a replacement (discontinued at Ford) and found (F75Z-5359-CA). It appears visually to be the same compressor. So what is the difference? If it is just the mounting bracket, I should be able to just swap out the bracket from my original one. If it is the wiring harness than worst case splice my original harness to new one.
So anyone know what the actual difference between the 2 is???

I believe the only differences were the mount and the lines configuration
I have a few pumps kicking around and used to give them away to my Moab Jeep buddies
Been doing Lincoln air ride since 1981
Trucks just have a one or two line pump where Lincolns have 4 output lines
Here is one off an Expedition IIRR
Note, relay failure was the cause of a few of these pump replacements and my team was at fault for the mis diagnosis
So
Before replacing
I'd first verify the integrity of the relay (make sure it works and under duress too)

New information from dealer

So I took my truck to the ford dealer to try and determine the issue with my rear auto leveling suspension. I thought it was the compressor had failed because it was not kicking on and its sitting down some in the rear.

The dealer so far has not found the problem. They said they can operate the compressor manually but it doesn't pump up the rear. They don't understand what is causing the compressor not to trigger on. They repaired the system a few years ago but didn't have the equipment any longer to reset the dash light so the check suspension light was always on.

So unless I'm mistaken there are 4 major components...air compressor, air springs, height sensor and a control module. So will a failed height sensor cause the compressor not to trigger on and prevent the suspension from rising when pump is operated manually?

Most load leveling I have worked with, hydraulic and pneumatic, have that basic setup. Level sensor/valve, a way to adjust via a pump, and the struts. Never really have dealt with a controller, just the valve would probably cut power to the pump's relay.

You may just want to S-can it as it will just become harder and harder to find parts. For instance my '01 Burb has Autoride, it was already rebuilt once with Arnott stuff which is top quality. Bags still good, pump is dead and one of the ride sensors for the magnetic ride control in the shocks died in them. Front shocks were also done at the same time for the Z55 code, tis falling apart again and not interested in screwing with it for the cost.

Some Bil 4600s, perhaps some air bags from Firestone if tow heavy, non air leaf springs, and a weekend to dump it may be smarter in your case. My conversion on the Burb ran $300 for two Moog Z71 spec rear coils and two Bil 5100s, it is 4x4.

If the dealer can manually fire up the compressor but the rear does not raise, the air bags / air springs leak
Jack up the truck by the rear frame and visualli inspect the rubber where the air bag folds in on itself
That is where they crack and leak

The little solenoids that let air into and out of the air bag might have failed
I used to replace them once in a while, but the air bags themselves were the trouble most of the time
Every one I ever worked on came in on a hook with the rear on the ground
I would hook up the NGS and start testing, the system would then "wake up: and start working

air suspension compressor differences continued

Sorry for the long delay getting back to my question/concern regarding the compressor differences.

To Manicmechanic007: So I found a new air suspension compressor that is listed as a direct replacement for a 1998-2006 Ford Expedition but dealer says it won't fit. What is your opinion? Is it the same as my original compressor but has a different mounting bracket? Will I be able to swap the mounting bracket on the new compressor with my original bracket and it will fit? Can you confirm either way? I'm having a hard time believing that the compressor is so unique in the 1997-1998 Ford F250 that there is no cross-compatibility with other later Ford year/models.

Well, they made several and the only difference I ever saw was the mounting brackets and the rubber
You can probably swap the bracket
I say probably because I am not sure
I would examine the 2 different parts on Ebay where you might have 5 different views and be able to tell
