Leafspring bushing help
02 f250 4x4
-i have an unknown lift on my truck.
-I do know that the fronts have the stock leafs with some added.
-same goes for the back
i need to replace bushings. If I order Dorman replacements front and rear, how difficult is it to add the add leafs when installing the new Dorman leafs?
anything else I need to be aware of?

that or find a local spring shop that could press in new bushings. All the aftermarket stuff is crap...including energy suspension.
If you want new leafs, call ATS Spring out of PA or Alcan Spring in Grand Junction, CO...or get PMF spec'd deaver springs...many options

or would I better off just letting a shop do the install?

Can you post pics of your leafs? I imagine you have minipacks/ add-a-packs.
Shouldn't be too difficult to put them on new springs. Typically you remove the factory bottom overload and add the mini packs in place. You may have to source new center pins if the current ones are worn/ damaged, too short, etc.
