OK, maybe I missed it but I feel like an idiot!
I have a '24 XLT crewcab and wanting to improve low beams as well as reverse lighting. Had done this on my prior '11 F350 with no issues. O researched and ordered bulbs from Lasfit and went to install the "easier" ones, the reverse bulbs. Easy enough to remove the taillight assy as a whole but here's where things unraveled. Couldn't find an individual reverse bulb. In fact they appear to be a string of bulbs buried between the outer and inner assy pieces. Took all the torx screws out on the assy but didn't feel any way to pop them apart. Also don't see how my new bulb (T21) will fit in OEM socket?
So my question is - Did I miss something in replacing the OEM bulbs with aftermarket LEDs? Can it be done and how?
Now I'm hesitant to start the headlight replacements...
The reverse lights are LED/COB and are not replaceable.
Ironically enough, the tail lights are easily replaced and use a standard 3157 style bulb (X4). Any of the Lasfit LED replacement bulbs work with no need to shut off the bulb out indicator.

I wondered about this when the OP described a "string of lights". Now I'm curious enough to see what my 2023 XLT Premium has for reverse lights. I know the headlights are LED reflector and the tails are incandescent. I've never checked the reverse lights.
Yep, the reverse lights are LED strips. I replaced my taillights on Friday. The running lights, brake lights, and turn signals are easy to replace, two bulbs on each side. But the backup lights are not replaceable. I bought red LED bulbs and they look really good, and they're bright. If you need more backup lighting, you'll have to add something to the bumper or hitch area for auxiliary lighting.

I bought the Lasfit back in June and they failed and hyper flashed intermittently. Lasfit was aware of the issue, refunded my money, and advised they took the tail lights off the web site. There was another thread going at the time and someone recommended Amazon, which I never do for bulbs, but I gave it a try and they've been perfect for the last 6 months. Got the red ones.
