So I picked up my 25 F250 platinum tremor about four months ago and I’ve had quite a few issues with my truck. It’s been back in the dealer three times for warranty work, after the first week of buying the truck. My driver‘s headlight filled with water had that fixed and the new replacement headlight also filled with water then my passenger door control unit went out then my passenger rear tail light got condensation in it. The most alarming thing of all is that my engine developed an intermittent bottom and tick. It’s quite a weird sound. And I’m wondering if this sound is normal or if there’s something definitely wrong my truck only is 9000 miles on it. And not modified if anybody’s heard of this sound before help would be greatly appreciated as I’m a little stumped.

The reason I asked is because I heard some of the earlier 2020-2022 had problems with the 10R140 transmission. A plate bolt in the transmission was hitting on the bell housing. Only heard it happened on the 7.3 but I am not following the 6.7 forum. Could be that, definitely let the dealer check it out.

thank you. It’s currently at the dealer so I will update the forum once I hear something from them.

it’s a lifter, I’ve had 9 6.7Ls, my 26 f450 does it and quiet annoying. It taps very hard to. Intermittent. Nothing then a tap tap tap nothing then a tap tap. Doesn’t hurt anything.
