Hazard lights

Hi, how are you guys hope you are doing great.
regarding the hazard lights of my 1956 ford f100 they stop once I press the brake pedal is this normal?

As long as they resume flashing when you let off the brake pedal, it's normal. The brake circuit overrides the flashers in this instance. If you're travelling down the road with your hazard lights on, it's good to let the people behind you know you're stopping.
