Apologies in advance for posting a repost here--I'm new and didn't see this forum after posting similar elsewhere. I think this is a better place for my question.
I have a 1990 F-150 that has had water in the floor (from a leak under the cowl, I believe). There is some kind of material that I believe is soundproofing that Ford has placed on the floor beneath the carpet/jute and on top of the metal. Due to the water, mine is crumbling and will need to be removed and (ideally) replaced before I have more body work done and the truck repainted. What is this stuff, and how can I obtain something like it? Pic attached shows metal floor to the left, then this crumbly stuff on top, and carpet/jute pulled back. Thank you.

Reason: Typo
Actually, when you purchase replacement carpeting from ACC, etc., it will come with that "padding'... and if you want extra insulation there is a small fee ($80 iiff) that they will bond insulation to the bottom of the carpet.
Honestly, I just installed new ACC carpet in my Mark LT, I did upgrade to full pile (as compared to cut pile) but I did not get the insulation....
as it is, it increased the quietness extensively...... not needed.
