2025 Power Window TSB
Got in my truck this morning, rolled the windows down to wipe the dew and my PASSENGER side front window did the same as what the drivers side has been doing. Appointment Monday to drop it off again.
Sales guy tried to tell me it was normal.
Finally after complaining several times, they rerouted every one of my cables.
They look like this when cables misrouted.
Weird, I custom ordered both my 22 and 26 and neither has that issue. I hate to think they treat ordered trucks differently but I would be pissed if mine looked like that.
Most of them were a lot more subtle than mine, and I'm guessing most people wouldn't care or notice.
There were so many trucks like that, I started to believe my sales guy that it was in fact "normal".
Initially, dealer ordered lock plungers and plunger trim, but mechanic realized I guess pretty quick it
wasn't a trim problem. Service writer told me when I picked it up, had to remove all 4 door panels and
"re-route" the lock cables.

Looks like there is a lock rod and lock cable.
Rod seems to not be plunger rod, like they had up to 22

Okay, thanks. Your truck was being built while mine was in transit.

My nephew liked my truck so much he bought a 26 F250 Limited. He called and said, "My window is having issues, did you have issues with yours"? I wonder why Ford struggles with power windows? It seems like that would be an easy issue to avoid.
Continuous cost cutting and race to find the cheapest suppliers. All 4 windows on my 20 year old Ford sedan work just fine and the AC blows ice cold without a recharge since new, two of the things they seem to have forgotten how to do.

Low cost is good but not at the cost of quality. My truck was back to the dealer 5 times over the windows, Ford lost any savings with the warranty claims. Customer satisfaction is another cost.
window has failed again. Scheduled appointment for Tuesday. This will be the 6th time in for power windows, 5th time for drivers front. Getting tired of it. It is a window, I can’t understand how FORD can’t correct the issue. It really struggles to go up, usually stalling within the first few inches.
