My $0.02 that no one asked for(!) is that tailgate is 100% repairable. I had a similar issue on my unibody tailgate and had it repaired. It will look waaaay better going that route IMO. The odds of getting (1) a blue one, (2) with the same patina, (3) not rusted out and/or not in worse shape than yours, and (4) within driving distance, are pretty long I would think. The best part of getting it repaired is a decent shop will be happy to do it as it is a relatively small job and it doesn't require you to drop the whole truck to them, just the panel.
