Yes, welcome to FTE!! Now tell us about your truck. Obviously, from your title, it's a '66 blue F250, so that is a great start, and we see it is a straight six. Now fill us in on the rest, and pictures are always welcome, dents, rust, missing parts and all. It's nice to celebrate these old trucks and those who enjoy keeping them going.

I dont know what came over me not posting pics of the truck... )
Body amd bed sides are pretty rust free... owner said 48k original miles ....owned since new... haven't gotten it started yet but a new battery and it turned over.
Tailgate has some rust but frame looks good. Has bias ply tires on it still.
Wow @66ford250bigblue what a find! I personally really like the long step sides. The wheels are also really cool, someone here will be able to tell you more about them. Post a picture of the build plate off the drivers door too, as then someone will be able to tell you what the diff, and trans were originally. If the seat is original, then there might be a build sheet tucked up in the springs.
That's an awesome find, what are your plans?

FUEL PUMP...CHANGE THE FUEL LINES... FILTER....SEE IF IT RUNS.
GOING TO NEED BRAKES... NOT A FAN OF DRUMS SO I MAY CONVERT TO DISC IF THERE IS A KIT OUT THERE. TIRES OF COURSE.... WOULD LIKE TO GET IT RUNNING AND DRIVING. LIKELY SELL IT OR THE 68 F250 I HAVE THAT ALSO NEEDS WORK; BUT THE PAINT IS A LOT BETTER.
There are a lot more qualified folks on this website who tirelessly share their knowledge, and I am not one of them...but I have learned a lot from them, and while I too was thinking "upgrade brake" and might still one day throw some disks on the front, I have found that the way I drive, which is like an old man, I find that the drums work fine. Steel fuel lines should be fine unless rusted, but the connecting rubber line would be a good replacement item, I would be curious about how deteriorated the fuel tank might be.
Tires...first what kind of rims do you have? And what size? Some of these good folks will know by just looking at your photo, but again, I am relatively new, so not me. What I do know it that they are "innie" rims, and that is hard to find, and as it is a '66 they might be single piece 16"...if they are...please remove the tires and send post paid by receiver to me in Virginia.
Hard to tell, is it a three on the tree, or four speed on the floor?
Lastly, before you sell....after you get her running, put a few miles on it...maybe a thousand or more, and then count the smiles and compliments you receive. Also I recommend frequently looking in the mirror as you drive, and check our your own mug...if you have the look of success, or a smile or grin or even smirk as some young wipper snapper flys buy you in a new truck...then reconsider selling....
If your plan is to sell it should consider if disc brake swap profitable. Kits are likely expensive compared to easiest way which would be swapping with 70's truck. Parts for the swap are getting harder to find tho. Either way change everything from the m/c to wheel cylinders. New hoses, new lines, everything. If you want to keep things simple keep it drums front and back and swap in a dual pot m/c from late 60s truck. Juat make sure is for drum/drum setup. Some late 60s truck did have drum/disc and m/c is no bueno for drum/drum.

ANYONE HAVE A BLUE TAILGATE?
That's a great truck. Can't wait to see what you do with with it. For sure get the brakes up and running safe, but I wouldn't go to the whole disk kit yet. They are out there, but I guess it depends what you are gonna do with it. I still need to swap in a dual pot vs single pot on mine and I drive it all the time. Good tires will make a big difference.
My fuel filter gets clogged more often than normal (it probably comes with territory driving with a '66 gas tank that spent it's life on a ranch. I just swap in an inline filter when it gets clogged. $5 and pretty easy.
Will you clean it and paint it, or go with the Patina look. Either way you will get a lot of thumbs ups when you drive that thing. People love it.
Welcome! Good project find, especially for the price! Like others have posted, I suggest keeping as stock as possible, if you're thinking of flipping it. I have the same seat cover in my '65.
