Headlight switch question
Does the alarm that goes off when you leave your lights on, is that controlled by a fuse? I left my headlights on the other day and came back to the truck and noticed the headlights were still on. Is that controlled by a fuse?

I have looked at the wiring diagram and can't find a circuit specifically for the headlight warning chime. All other warnings like door open and seatbelt go to the instrument cluster. Do any warning chimes in your truck work? I think the cluster sees when the backlights in the cluster are on and this triggers the warning chime.
Maybe someone with your model year can verify the chime comes from the cluster.

I have a dumb question for you - when you left your headlights on and got out of your truck did you get out on the passenger side of your truck? The reason I ask is I back my car into the driveway so close to my other truck I can't open the door. I found out if I leave through the passenger side door rather than the drivers door with the headlights on the "Lights on Chime" doesn't activate. If I exit from the drivers door my Lights on Chime works.
