U joint replacement cost
Just curious what everyone has seen to replace rear u joints on their trucks... Think I have a creaky one so I called around to a handful of local places and the estimates varied wildly... From about $150 to $700+! I'm perfectly capable of doing them myself, but it's one of my least favorite things to do. For $150ish, including parts, I'll farm it out. I was just so surprised to find such a disparity.

I could probably get a carbon fiber shaft for almost $700! The guy said it with a straight face, too. "But they are OEM quality parts...".
