I ordered the trailer TPMS option, and expected that there would be some little gadget that screws on the trailer wheel valve stems. Looked in the glove boxes. Not there. I forgot to mention it when I picked up the truck.
Anyone else have this option and advise what I should be looking for?
You'll have to talk with your salesperson since the Trailer TPMS is normally handled by the Parts Department even on new orders (at least that's how it worked for me). It's a pigtail with a sensor box that gets mounted on the trailer. The TPMS sensors that come with it will replace the standard trailer valve stems and require remounting the wheels and tires to install.

Although the Ford TPMS kit has the internal sensors, the aftermarket type that screw on the valve stems should only be used on full-metal valve stems in the event one considers this type. Rubber valve stems aren't strong enough to support centrifugal loads from the external sensors. I had to replace two valve stems on my trailer after sudden pressure loss (TPMS alarm worked!!). I then replaced the rubber stems with metal stems after second failure. Once new truck arrives I will be installing the Ford TPMS kit which I will order on my own and of course have tire shop install internal sensors.

There are multiple pieces you should receive. Check in the storage under the rear seat for it.
There will be sensors (the internal type that you have to break down the tires to install, not the external screw on valve stem type) as well as a base wiring harness, a signal repeater, and an extra set of 7 and 12 pin sockets in case your build did not have them already.
My dealer forgot some of the parts. Luckily it all comes in through the parts department and not included directly from the factory, so parts can track the stuff with your VIN. My dealer lost the sensors and had to reorder on their dime.

I didn't know they had this option. where is the display for these once it is installed?
Once this system is installed and set up, the trailer tire pressure and temperature screen can be selected on the instrument cluster screen. The system allows monitoring of the trailer tire pressure and temperature while driving
As stated above the trailer tire pressure kit comes in two boxes, one with the cable, 7/12 pin plug, 7/4 pin adaptor, docking station for the 12 pin cable, and some zip ties and stuff, and a smaller box with the sensors and receiver. Both of these boxes ship to the dealer parts department and arrive separate from the truck. Both boxes have the VIN on them. In my case the parts department had never seen anyone order this option before and only noticed the larger box, which one parts guy decided would be helpful to set on the side of the salesman’s desk but not tell anyone. After a search the smaller box was located in the parts department but it took until the following day to find the other one. My situation was more confusing because my truck came with the 5th wheel prep which includes a Yaw sensor and cable that did come with the truck and was in the back seat. What you are looking for is one box roughly 18x18x4 inches, and another that’s around 6x4x4 inches.
