I made a FORScan change a long time ago so that my fog lights are on with DRL. They used to be on whenever DRLs were on. It was nice because I have yellow Lamin-x film on the fogs and it made for a nice contrast with the white of the C rings on the headlights for better visibility.
I see that now the fogs are not operating with the DRL while the steering is pointed straight. However, when I turn the steering wheel in either direction, the corresponding fog light for that side only comes on. Could this be some kind of BCM change that was made when the truck was in for service? Is it a stock module configuration these days?
The truck was in several times for a non functioning traction control system as well as a telematics control module replacement. That was quite some time ago, maybe I'm just noticing it recently when I see the reflection of the lights as I pull into my driveway.
I just glanced over the FORScan spreadsheet and don't see a specific position for this anymore.

No luck. Cornering is not shown under the lighting settings. Or anyplace else on this truck. It was worth a shot.
According to DuckDuckGo AI it's a FORScan thing. Nothing about the function turns up on this site's spreadsheet but it may be one of those things that appears in the "plain English" side of FORScan.

Problem solved with FORScan non As Built side. As it turned out, the fog light switch had somehow been deactivated too. No idea how that happened.
Looks like I unintentionally changed the front turn outage while I was in there. That has since been returned.

Hmm I might have to do this too and just turn the danged things off for turning, I am not too impressed by the "cornering" lights since fog lights are by design set to a very low cut off. When I go around corner I want a more vertically spread out coverage to see humans walking in the dark and whatnot. Those who had older Lincoln and Mercury vehicles will know what I mean.

I do know what you mean. I had a 1998 Town Car within the last year.
My problem is that I only use it very infrequently. Biggest problem I have is getting the license key and hardware ID squared away. I only use the 2 month free license so I have to sort that stuff out every time I begin again. I’ve always used Mac stuff so I have poke around feel my way through Windows.
Thanks kudie for sending me down the path of cornering lights. It eventually got me a solution.
