It’s a great question. I also attempted to replace my bulbs with the Phillips in the picture. Perfect fit, good price. 1 hour into to the install I realized the locking nut would not work. Possibly I needed to modify it?
I’d love to hear some suggestions as well on LEDs that are plug-in play, and lock in place.
A headlight wiring upgrade kit will also help assure you get proper voltage to your lights.
I'm not sure how much LED bulbs will help as the headlight assembly wasn't designed for LED's. I upgraded to the high output Hella/ Flosser bulbs as well as upgraded the wiring. Made a great improvement but still nothing compared to the newer vehicles.
Aftermarket assemblies can also help, but they are the typical chinese junk that don't typically last.
I've run LED bulbs, upgraded my wiring, went back to high wattage Hela bulbs etc and nothing comes close to good enough to be honest. I'm going to bite the bullet and just pick up a nice set of LED projectors. They are spendy but I don't have a truck payment so screw it. I just want to be able to see at night without blinding everyone.

I believe they tested these on that link I posted.
