My rear camera is fuzzy and I know this is a common complaint. My question is what options for replacement other than from the Ford dealership have people used with the best success? Looking for a replacement.
Was your SD part of the recent camera recall notice? I just had it replaced (thought it was working fine). Here is a copy of the work order, maybe yours can be replaced too?
Ford is really your only option if you want all the functionality of the camera to work like guide lines, active guidelines, zoom and if you have sync 2, the colored parkAid blocks that show up on the screen are also done by the camera. Aftermarket cameras will give you a picture but how good the picture quality is and how long it will last for will be another question.

I got one of those camera recall notices and my camera was replaced once under the premium warranty I had that expired in December 2023. I just recently dropped my tank after my truck would not go live for an active regen because the fuel gauge went to zero after acting weird for awhile but found the wire harness running on the left frame was rubbing on the tank. Here's what I found.
Main harness was rubbing on tank. Rubbed not only the sending unit wire shorting it out, but the ground for the rear camera. See below. Used shrink tube butt splices with solder in them after cleaning the wires. I now have my rear camera back.
Just something to be aware of...
