Multi-contour is massage and max-recline are the lay flat. You can get multi-contour without max-recline, likewise you can get max-recline without multi-contour. On both my 21 and 24 platinum trims, multi-contour came standard. On my 24 I ordered it with max-recline on top of multi-contour.

My '24 Platinum came with massage by default, and I optioned the max recline. I have used the massage many times, and only tested the max recline to make sure it was there and worked. Probably will never use it, but I figured it was better to have it and not use it than not have it and wish I did.

My MaxRecline also massages (Platinum Plus). I'm not sure if they come as 2 separate order items. I will say this. Unless you're 3 feet tall, the MaxRecline isn't all its cracked up to be. To get the full function, you have to pull the seat to the dash and then recline. Someone my size (6'4" and 275 lbs) doesn't have room to get any more recline than a non- max
