Multi contour_Max recline
To make sure I understand this.... I am ordering a 2026 F250 Platinum......
I want to make sure I get the massage function, do both the Multi Contour & the MaxRecline seats have massage? Am I losing any of the comfort for driving by adding the Max Recline? The massage feature is more important to me than the Max Recline.

I've had several Platinum trucks with the multi-contour seats (aka massage seats).
These were NOT the same seats as the max recline seats.
Max recline did not have massage, and multi-contour seats did not recline like the max recline.
Did something change?

My MaxRecline also massages (Platinum Plus). I'm not sure if they come as 2 separate order items. I will say this. Unless you're 3 feet tall, the MaxRecline isn't all its cracked up to be. To get the full function, you have to pull the seat to the dash and then recline. Someone my size (6'4" and 275 lbs) doesn't have room to get any more recline than a non- max

Again, multi-contour is what the "massage" seats are. Max recline is a DIFFERENT seat - it does not have the massage like the multi-contour.
My '26 Platinum as the multi-contour seats, not the max recline seats.

I think the confusion is Platinum and KR trims come with the multicontour seats. You can option the max recline function on those seats. So for those trims you can either have a multicontour seat or combo multicontour/max recline seat. On the Lariat trim you can option a max recline seat but it doesn’t come with the message function it is just a “regular “ seat with the max recline function.

I've done a ton of research as I was deciding on max recline seats for my Lariat order and this vid should answer your question.
Pretty much on the Lariat trim, you get the multicontour seat without massaging feature for max recline. So the seat is different than the "regular" seat found in non-max recline Lariat.

Sounds like there are three different versions: Multi-contour, max recline, and multi-contour with max recline.

When I ordered my 2026 Platinum back in July the only seat option was the max recline. I stayed with the stock Platinum seats which I think are called multi-contour. They do have the massage function which the wife and I both use when towing our travel trailer for longer distances. Our F150 has the max recline seats. Both are very comfortable with the F150 seats being a little more supportive but not enough difference to bother me. We had a 2024 F350 Lariat which we sold when we sold our fifth wheel a year ago. It had the standard seats but I can't remember if it had the massage function. Anyway, they were not as supportive and caused my back to ache on longer trips with it. No issues with that with the trucks we have now.
