need help from the computer techs.

two year old lenovo laptop running windows 11.
i lost the mouse pointer, and can not get it back by turning off and restarting. this first started happening two months ago but a restart would bring it back.
now nothing i try will work. been hidden for two days now.
i have hide pointer when typing turned off. also have highlight pointer when control clicked turned on and can see where the pointer is, but it just stays hidden and mouse does not work
anyone have any ideas?
luckily i have a touchscreen, but need the mouse working.

try changing mouse battery? Mouse driver updated? Google the problem for more info...... I can't stand windows 11, they should go back to windows 7.

it is a laptop with built in mouse. and as far as i can find, there is no mouse driver.
google is useless. it says to click windows button and F11 to reset the keypad. which of course does nothing
