I have what I believe is a 1979 Ford Durango. It could be a copy, but a good one. The VIN is 9E93T163651. I need help decoding the vin to see if it is a Durango or a copy. The body code is 36R on the door which is a Fairmont I believe. Did Durangos have their own code? Or is there a way to verify what this car was originally?
? There was only 200 or so made so it's hard to get info.
