ok, ive been trying to decode my VIN but my code only has 11 characters. its right off the tag in the dashboard. everywhere i look im told there are ALWAYS 17 characters. im puzzled. i dont know if my VIN can be used for evil on the internet but here it is if anyone can help. my car is a 1975 Ford Elite. some say Torino Elite, others say Gran Torino Elite.
