Our Ranger is a 2024, 2.7, XLT, with a whopping 6200 miles on it.
All of a sudden the driver display (dashboard) is showing a circle with the prospective view of a road. I've got the display set to show trip 1 (or 2), and the display will change to the circle thing for a few seconds, then go back to the trip 1 setting, then after 5-10 seconds it switches to the circle again. Sometimes the circle will go away for the remainder of the drive, and sometimes it will come on & stay. Goofy thing has not done this scenario since we bought it, now starts the circle thing. I've pushed every button on the steering wheel trying to stop it, but nothing seems to work.
What can I do to get it stopped? Or maybe I just gotta live with it?
You could try a factory reset taking it back to the original settings. I had a similar issue and the reset took care of it. My Ranger is also a 24 model. You will have to reprogram all your settings after the factory reset. If that don't work I would take it back to the dealership and let them try to correct the issue.
Goofy truck - Thursday I drove 35-40 miles, and the display changed once. Yesterday I drove about the same, and the display didn't change. I'm gonna leave it alone.
