Uber dirty oil?
Im curious for thoughts on this. Had my 99/v10 for 3 years, oil changed every 4500 or so. Use H/M syn 5/30 and usually M/C oil filters with the occasional Wix. The oil in this thing gets dirty like Ive never seen in that mileage. paper air filter, no off road to speak of, just black like a diesel when changed. M/C oil filters suck or something??

My old V-10 Excursion would always have very black oil at 3.5 to 5 K change intervals, most of its miles were with a 12/13K TT on the hitch. Always used Motorcraft filters.

Maybe the previous owner wasn't as good with oil changes and there is carbon buildup that is now being "washed" away?
