Removing hands on wheel warning

Is there a fix to remove the warnings that come up with lane keeping on. Keep hands on wheel and keeps eye on road. I have FORScan looking for a code if there is one. 2022 platinum

Its not malfunctioning it’s just annoying that it keeps telling me to keep my hands on the wheel if I don’t put enough steering input into it.

Yep, either turn off the lane centering/keeping junk and enjoy not getting the warnings, or leave that stuff turned on and have the truck fuss at you constantly. For me the choice was easy.

Third option is to keep hands on the wheel. Might work.

It isn't that he's driving with his hands in his lap. It's that the stupid system wants your hands at 10 and 2 position constantly which is fatiguing on long drives, AND it wants to see steering inputs often. It's a very annoying system. I never keep my hands in that position on long drives because eventually it starts aching in my neck and shoulders. I'm not 18 anymore. So job #1 on my '25 was to turn off as much of this nanny B.S. I could.

Doesn't. Tried it. You need to fight against the lane centering every time the alert pops up.

This is because the warning is a safety feature that's integrated with Lane-Keeping Assist or lane centering, not a separate, adjustable warning. Some drivers find a temporary fix by applying slight torque to the steering wheel to satisfy the system's sensor, but turning the system off is the only permanent solution.
