Fuel injectors and production dates
I’m a bit confused here. I have a 2003 F250 5.4L, the production date for my truck is 03/27/2003, when I search for fuel injectors, all major parts suppliers in my area Advance, Autozone, Napa, auto parts warehouse even online vendors like parts geek, rock Auto, and even Amazon all list, two different injectors with the production date of either before or after 01/15/2003, with the distinct looking difference in them too. the before’s being short and fat and the Afters being long and skinny. the fat ones is what is in my truck now. I contacted my local Ford dealer. They gave me a part number which crosses to the fat ones. The before’s… what am I not understanding here?
